This is a pivot point. I’m known for self-care … and I want you to keep nourishing self, I want you to keep being loving and generous with other people – AND I also want you to RECEIVE.

This is where the skills of self-advocacy come in. To advocate for ourselves, which is our ability to speak up on our behalf, to voice our feelings and needs – we need to take back our right to self.

It’s time to heal our relationship with self. Cast off selflessness! It’s ok to have feelings and needs! It’s ok to lean on other people. We need it not only for our wellbeing but the health of our relationships.
