This tip will help you stick to your guns and move daily!

Commitment to daily exercise tip #4: Plan your “If… Then primers” for exercise.

Think of your barriers to movement and brainstorm strategies to overcome them. A few of mine… If it’s raining… then I will roll out my yoga mat at home. If I am tired… then I will get up and choose something gentle. Or my favourite – if I can’t get a minute to myself, then I’ll take my little one to the beach and chase her like a crocodile.

If you’d like a sounding board or someone to help generate some creative options – I have lots of ideas up my sleeve. Get in touch and I promise we can make daily joyful movement a reality for you.

5 tips to better posture

Commitment to daily exercise tip #2: Enhance your posture.

Why? Because good posture boosts your mood, energy and outlook. By elongating your spine and reconnecting with your core muscles you’ll instantly look like you’ve dropped a couple of kilos too.

What do you need to get fit?

Commitment to daily exercise tip #1:

You don’t need a gym membership or fancy equipment, all you need is your body!

Step outside and take a walk. Use the environment around you – hills, stairs, and benches for step ups, press ups and dips. Try some simple and effective body weight exercises like squats or lunges and intersperse them with walking or jogging intervals. Learn some yoga sequences that you can do at home, rain, hail or shine.

Not sure what’s best for your body? I can design a routine tailored uniquely to you – your goals, your preferences, your needs. Drop me a line at suzy@suzyreading.co.uk.
